Ngorongoro Farmhouse

Located amongst very pleasant, rolling agricultural fields and coffee plantations, with easy access to the road leading to the Crater, the lodge has an authentic farmhouse feel, similar to the more traditional lodges in the region. This laid-back atmosphere works very well in its surroundings and there is an air of spaciousness and freedom here.

The main area consists of a large thatched area and includes a lovely big swimming pool. The large and spacious rooms are scattered over a wide area, amongst the coffee plantations.

There are many opportunities to do cycling through the plantations and nearby villages, taking in daily life at a relaxed pace. Walking safaris can also be taken to the adjacent forest leading to the Oldeani Volcano or to the nearby Lake Eyasi in the Rift Valley, still inhabited by a tribe of hunter-gatherers, the Hadzabe.
